Employment Training Programs

Éclipse offers two employment training programs: the Propulsion-Formation-Emploi (PFE) program and the Projet préparatoire à l'emploi (PPE) program. These programs help participants acquire the skills and knowledge they need to enter the job market or improve their employment outlook. The programs include activities and training to prepare participants for the job market and offer job search support.

Work Experience

Éclipse offers many qualifying work experiences in various workstations: sewing, cutting, quality control, janitor, sorting and handling, merchandising and customer service. Experienced trainers supervise these platforms, and courses can lead to semi-specialized trade certification (in partnership with the Centre de formation générale aux adultes – CFGA). People who gain work experience at Éclipse thus add a new string to their bow!

Psychosocial Support

Throughout the program, we offer psychosocial support to all participants. Our professionals work one-on-one with each participant to help them overcome the challenges and obstacles they face and provide them with the tools they need to progress toward their personal and professional goals. This support helps them stay in quality jobs. Thanks to the SPHERE Québec program, an experienced psychoeducator is part of the team, supporting people living with anxiety-related challenges.

PPE Program (Projet préparatoire à l’emploi)

The PPE program offers an opportunity to engage in a 26-week employability process for people aged 18 and over who are distanced from the job market. It aims to address employees’ personal, social and professional challenges in training within an active, well-structured environment. Participants benefit from a 24-month post-course follow-up and the possibility of obtaining semi-specialized trade certification (in partnership with the CFGA).

  • All people who are distanced from the job market
  • Duration: 910 hours (approximatly 6 months)

PFE Program (Propulsion-Formation-Emploi)

The PFE program is an initiative that enables people between the ages of 16 and 30 who have either dropped out of school or the workforce or are in the process of doing so to balance school and work in a stimulating learning environment. This 40-week work-study program aims to develop a personalized plan for each participant by addressing personal, social, academic and professional issues in an active, structured environment.

  • Anyone between the ages of 16 and 30 who has either dropped out of school or the workforce or is in the process of doing so.
  • Number of weeks: 40 weeks plus 12 weeks post-intervention follow-up
  • Duration per week: 35 hours of work including 15 hours of training

Some testimonials

Éclipse was an incredible experience for me. It feels like home, like a family. The amazing staff supports us in becoming the best version of ourselves while pushing us towards success. At Éclipse, I learned to grow and become a more mature person, to manage my emotions by transforming them into positive energy. Thanks to them, I discovered a passion for sewing, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. If tomorrow someone asked me if I would want to come back, I would say yes without hesitation. Thank you, Éclipse !

former participant in the PFE program

Léo and I have gone through this wonderful adventure that has been his journey in the program. Léo and us, his parents, are very proud of his “Customer Service” certificate. He now works in a restaurant in customer service and we only receive excellent feedback on his work. We especially want to thank his psychosocial worker Roxanne, who kept him motivated until the end. Beyond the academic program, it is all the support received in various spheres of Léo’s daily life that has allowed him to gain his independence. Examples : making a budget, grocery shopping, and turning to community resources to make ends meet. A supportive and attentive team: a necessity for self-esteem, which was greatly reinforced. Thank you to the entire team.

Throughout my program at Ressourcerie Éclipse, I had the chance to meet wonderful people who helped me become the person I am and introduced me to things I didn’t know at all while improving my current skills. Thank you to all the members of the team for welcoming me warmly.

former participant in the PFE program

Ressourcerie Éclipse is a perfect place to lean about oneself and the world around us. It is a favorable environment for improving communication and expressing our ideas and emotions. It is an excellent place to learn how to work and develop a team spirit. The trainers and teachers are patient, professional, and attentive to those around them. Éclipse is a great help for educational and professional training and for building one’s future on a solid foundation. When working there, we know we are working for the community and helping those in need, and it is a very gratifying feeling.

Éclipse allowed me to become a better version of myself. The people are so understanding. They taught me to stay strong and to get through the challenges I have faced. When I leave, I will not forget you. You are like family to me.
